Noise Reduction Effect of Semiconductor Optical Amplifier Using Fiber Bragg Grating

Abstract

A negative feedback semiconductor optical amplifier was realized in an InGaAsP-InP amplifier using a fiber Bragg grating. The negative feedback optical amplification effect can be utilized to recover signal loss with a lower error probability.
