Novel Designs for On-chip Mid-Infrared Detectors Integrated with Chalcogenide Waveguides

Abstract

We present novel designs with corresponding simulation and measurement results showing a reduction in reflection for a waveguide-integrated on-chip detector for the mid-infrared regime using chalcogenide glass waveguides integrated with a PbTe detector.
