Analysis of Periodic Structures at Oblique Incidence Using an LOD-FDTD Method

Abstract

A broadband mirror consisting of a subwavelength grating is analyzed using a locally one-dimensional FDTD method with the periodic boundary condition. A high reflectivity is obtained around wavelengths of 1.4 µm and 1.9 µm.
