Micro-damage induced direct written waveguide Bragg gratings in the cumulative heating regime

Abstract

We exploited micro-damage effects to fabricate waveguides that incorporate Bragg gratings in a single process step. We utilized a 5.1 MHz femtosecond oscillator combined with a Pockels cell to modulate the pulse energy.
