Abstract

A novel all optical signal regenerator(2R) which consists of a serially cascaded dual cross-phase modulation(XPM) wavelength converter based on Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) using semiconductor optical amplifiers(SOAs) is proposed and analyzed.
