Abstract

Nonlinear propagation of THz surface plasmons on semiconductors, stemming from ponderomotive forces, may serve as important ingredient in active integrated THz photonics. High-power THz modes exhibit high order nonlinearity, "slow light", nonlinear cutoff, reduced wavelength.
