The Influence of Au Nanoparticles on the Electronic and Thermo-optical Nonlinearities of a Colloidal System

Abstract

The influence of gold nanoparticles on the thermo-optical and electronic optical properties of a highly stable biocompatible colloid was investigated. The results indicate that local and nonlocal optical properties can be engineered in nanostructured systems.
