Interlaced coupled-cavity waveguide platform for silicon photonics

Abstract

Slow-light devices are receiving significant interest in integrated photonics. We present a multi-channel platform with bandwidth above 400 Gbits/s at group velocities below 0.004c. Channel tunability makes it attractive for active devices and bio-sensing applications.
