Time-domain Characterization of Integrated Devices by Optical Coherence Pulsed Interferometry

Abstract

The complex amplitude of optical pulses is observed in time-domain by a novel interferometric technique, requiring no fast detection nor synchronization. Pulse delay, envelope distortion and frequency chirp introduced by integrated ring resonators is measured.
