A Monte Carlo Analysis of Cross Tolerances in Lenses

Abstract

Cross tolerances, or the interactions between tolerances, are examined for ten double Gauss lens specifications drawn from U.S. patents. In the context of these ten lenses, it is often efficient to specify tight tolerances jointly.
