Imaging the Polarization of a Light Field

Not Accessible

Abstract

Introducing a space-variant retarder into the pupil plane of an optical system produces a variety of polarization dependent point spread functions. I will discuss how this can be used for imaging polarimetry and compare several different methods of apodization, including liquid crystals and stress engineered elements.
