Abstract

A CFRP (carbon-fiber-reinforced-polymer) variable curvature mirror, which is suitable for non-moving-element optical zooming, is designed, fabricated and tested. With 100mm diameter, 2mm thickness and initial curvature radius of 1740mm, this mirror can provide a center deflection of about 22.9μm.
