Hybrid diffractive-refractive eyepiece

Abstract

A visible hybrid diffractive-refractive eyepiece magnifier with highly reduced forward protrusion from the eye for a night vision sensor system has been designed, manufactured and evaluated. Design methods, trade studies and results will be presented.
