Time evolution of entanglement and quantum correlations in dissipative quantum systems

Abstract

The time evolution of a pair of coupled, non-identical harmonic oscillators in contact with a common environment is discussed. The characterizations of the quantumness of the system is given by studying the dynamics of entanglement and of other indicators, like quantum discord.
