Pulsed homodyne detection of squeezed light at telecommunication wavelength

Abstract

We present the generation of squeezed light at 1.535 µm by single-pass optical parametric amplification in a periodically poled MgO-doped LiNbO3 waveguide. Squeezing of −4.2 dB was observed by using a temporally matched local oscillator.
