Abstract

As demonstrated by GOME/ERS-2 and SCIAMACHY/ENVISAT and partly to be continued unitl 2020 by GOME-2/METOP, solar backscatter spectroscopy is well suited to probe atmospheric chemical composition relevant for Ozone, Air Quality and Greenhouse Gas monitoring.
