Abstract

Hyperspectral cloud top altitude retrievals methods applied to S-HIS (Scanning High Resolution Interferometer Sounder) measurements are presented. Included in this comparison is an improvement to the traditional CO2 Slicing method. The new method, CO2 Sorting, better determines optimal channel pairs to apply to CO2 Slicing.
