Waveguide structure based tabletop electron acceleration setup using THz pulses

Abstract

In our numerical simulations the acceleration of electron bunches in THz pulse-driven waveguide structures has been investigated. Acceleration of electron bunches with 1fC bunch charge up to 46 keV energy was predicted at 50 mm.
