Temporal Characterization of Two Octave Hollow Fiber Supercontinuum

Abstract

We measure the temporal profile of a 600 µJ hollow fiber supercontin-uum spanning 640–2600 nm. At the fiber output, we observe extreme self-steepening and self-compression. The pulse is suitable for multi-channel compression to the sub-cycle regime.
