Abstract

We report on a high-energy Yb:KYW dual-crystal regenerative amplifier, delivering 6 mJ at 1 kHz. The pulses centered at 1030 nm, stretched with chirped fiber Bragg gratings, can sustain a sub-ps duration after recompression.
