Direct Carrier-Envelope Phase Control of a sub-MHz Yb amplifier

Abstract

A novel frequency synthesis scheme and feed-forward approach is applied directly for stabilization of a sub-MHz frequency comb from a Yb:KGW CPA laser not only reduces the phase noise but also greatly simplifies the stabilization setup.
