Phase Coherent Extreme Ultraviolet Radiation

Abstract

We demonstrate the first measurement of extreme ultraviolet radiation with long phase coherence times. We use a high power frequency comb to perform high harmonic generation in two independent femtosecond enhancement cavities to probe the obtainable coherence via a heterodyne beat.
