Mapping the Coulomb Potential’s Influence on the Motion of Electronic Wave Packets in Strong Laser Fields

Abstract

We manipulate the trajectories of field-ionizing electron wave packets using synthesized two-color laser pulses in order to control the Coulomb potential’s influence on their three-dimensional momentum distributions which are measured using coincidence momentum imaging.
