Attosecond Depletion of Resonant Auger Decay in Krypton

Abstract

Changes in the spectral width of Auger emission reveal transient depletion of excited states prepared using attosecond XUV pulses by strong phase-stable few-cycle pulses. Additionally, interference of photoelectrons and Auger electrons is observed.
