Plasma hydrodynamics of the intense laser - cluster interaction

Abstract

We present a 1D hydrodynamic model of laser-cluster interactions in which the laser field is treated self-consistently. Simulations of recent experiments from clusters explain the dependence of EUV & x-ray generation efficiency on laser pulse width.
