Metasurface Enabled Single Measurement Recovery of Thickness and Refractive Index Maps of Cells

Abstract

We present a bio-imaging technique that exploits thin film interference on cells placed on top of a nanostructured broadband light coupling metasurface. Initial results show a 102 refractive index sensitivity and 50 nm spatial resolution.
