k-Wave simulation study for the characterization of nanoparticles using optoacoustic effect

Abstract

The k-Wave toolbox is utilized for computing the amplitude of the optoacoustic field for gold, silver, and palladium nanoparticles of various shapes. Each particle represents a unique spectrum corresponding to its shape and metal type.
