Abstract

We have demonstrated the use of Raman spectroscopy as a label-free tool for diagnosing encapsulated cells preserved via chemically-induced ‘sporulation’. This offers a nondestructive and in situ means of cell quality assessment in cell logistics. © 2020 The Author(s)
