Two-Dimensional Beam Steering in Silicon-On-Insulator Platform Using Wavelength Tuning

Abstract

An integrated passive silicon photonics platform for two-dimensional (2D) beam steering using laser wavelength tuning only is systematically investigated. Furthermore, 3× sweeping resolution improvement in azimuthal angle direction is achieved over previous work.
