The Effect of Coupling Disorder on the Transfer Efficiency in the LH1-RC Photosynthetic Unit

Abstract

A quantum model of the LH1-RC is presented with disorder in the photon-donor and donor ring inter-site couplings. The effect of disorder on the transfer efficiency of the excitation is investigated.
