Ophthalmic Applications of Confocal Scanning Laser Ophthalmoscopy Integrated with Tunable Optics

Abstract

We demonstrate a prototype confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscope system to image different layers of the retina. The system was integrated with a high-speed acousto-optic tunable lens to make a rapid depth scanning.
