Spectral vector beams for high-speed spectroscopy

Abstract

We introduce a novel method to generate a beam with frequency-dependent polarization, i.e. a spectral vector beam. Such beams allow determining the frequency spectrum by only measuring polarization, which can reach GHz read-out rates.
