Pseudo-spin destabilization in optically confined exciton-polariton condensates

Abstract

We study optically confined p olariton c ondensate s pinor u nder n on-resonant excitation. Under balanced spin injection, we reveal an unstable regime attributed to the enhanced condensate-reservoir interactions and consequent pseudo-spin fluctuations.
