Second harmonic generation and wavefront shaping in dielectric metasurfaces

Abstract

We demonstrate an AlGaAs metasurface that implements second harmonic generation with engineered phase-front. Nonlinear holography is obtained, with three-order-of-magnitude higher conversion efficiency than in χ(3) plasmonic metasurfaces.
