Integrated Couplers for OAM Fiber Modes using Compact Antennas and Circular Grating

Abstract

We present and compare two novel integrated devices in SOI platform for the coupling of OAM modes into multimode fibers. Simulation results show generated OAM beams and mode overlap with a photonic bandgap fiber.
