Demonstration of snapshot terahertz spectral power characterization with a microbolometer focal plane array

Abstract

We demonstrate non-scanning terahertz spectroscopy using a Mach-Zehnder interferometer with a microbolometer focal plane array. This can measure terahertz field autocorrelations over a range exceeding 30 THz with a spectral resolution of 0.5 THz.
