Symmetry Aspects of the Cesium D2 Double Resonance Spectrum

Abstract

Dark resonance spectra were recorded with a σ+-polarized beam from a laser diode. Longitudinal magnetic fields reveal seven double resonances. In orthogonal magnetic fields fifteen double resonances appear. This indicates strong angular dependence.
