Abstract

The white noise electroretinogram (wnERG) measurements using a photoreceptor silent-substitution technique showed that melanopsin activation supresses the human cone wnERG, potentially mediated via retrograde signalling from melanopsin cells to cones through dopaminergic amacrine cells.
