Demonstration of All-Optical Switching with Dichromatic Cavity Optomechanics

Abstract

Optical interference between light spectrally separated by > 5 THz (40 nm) is demonstrated using two optomechanically induced transparency processes. This is then used to realize an all-optical bichromatic switch.
