Abstract

An all-silicon electro-optic modulator based on a transparent conducting oxide-integrated directional coupler is proposed. An extinction ratio (ER) of 8.45 dB and an insertion loss (IL) of 0.75 dB are achieved at 1.55 μm wavelength.
