Dynamics of Quantum Dot Lasers Subject to Polarization- Rotated Feedback

Abstract

Polarization-rotated optical feedback stimulates orthogonal polarization in a quantum dot laser. The frequency of feedback dynamics is decreased by a factor of 2 when the polarization of feedback is rotated by a large angle.
