Study on Features of a Diode-Pumped Alkali Laser: Temperature 3D-Distribution, Thermally-Induced Lens, and Ionization Processes

Abstract

We develop a 3D-model to evaluate the kinetic processes and the thermal features of a cesium-vapor laser. The 3-dimensional temperature distribution, effective focal length of a thermally-induced lens, and the influence of ionization processes are analyzed.
