Abstract

In the present paper, the 2D Fourier fractal analysis (FFA) was utilized in OCT images for automatically categorizing the basal cell carcinomas, melanomas and pigment nevi. Besides, the differential box counting method (DBCM) was also used for calculating the 2D FD. Our results showed that the significant decrease of the 2D FD was detected in the pigment nevi and basal cell carcinomas as compared with the melanomas.
