Abstract

Surface plasmon-enhanced super-resolution imaging has been studied using silver nanoislands. The size of randomly distributed localized near-field on the nanoislands was in the range of 100-150nm, which affects the resolution of the imaging system. Fluorescent actin filament network of J774 cells was imaged on nanoislands and confirmed super-resolution.
