Multiplexing and Amplification of 2 μm Vortex Beams

Abstract

The multiplexing and amplification of optical vortices with orbital angular momentum (OAM) is demonstrated in a Ho:YAG rod amplifier. The phase of the amplified vortex is also studied and proven to be well maintained.
