Optical Study of Dual-width Plasmonic Nanogap Gratings for Biosensor Applications

Abstract

Plasmonic grating (1D) and grid (2D) structures with two unique widths and sub-10 nm gaps have been fabricated, and electromagnetic simulations and Raman spectroscopy results have been performed to optimize the geometry for optical enhancement.
