Experimentally Demonstrating Quantum Data Locking with a Quantum Enigma Machine*

Abstract

We present an experimental demonstration of quantum data locking as a quantum enigma machine that encrypts 6 bits per photon with less than 6 bits per photon of encryption key while remaining information-theoretically secure.
