Nonlinear Light-Matter Interactions in Engineered Optical Media

Abstract

The emergence of metamaterials was predicted to enable a plethora of nonlinear light-matter interactions and even new nonlinear materials. Here, we discuss novel opportunities for structured light manipulation in nonlinear soft-matter, gaseous and negative-index media.
