Abstract

Illumination of optical vortices with an orbital angular momentum owing to a helical wavefront twists melted or vaporized materials to form chiral structured materials on a nanoscale. Such chiral nanostructures will allow potentially us to develop chirality sensors, chiral chemical reactors, and optical metamaetrials.
