Recent advances in laser-driven ion acceleration research

Abstract

We will present recent experimental progress in ion acceleration driven by ultra-intense laser pulses, including optimization of the established Target Normal Sheath Acceleration process, as well as investigations of Radiation Pressure Acceleration.
